"Mrs Winterling is the Best of The Best!.
She is always caring and loving towards every
child under her care. I must say, I was amazed
at how she never forgot names of parents as well
as children. No child will ever be left behind
in her care. She is a blessed women with more
love than imaginable. It killed me to remove my
so from Bentelau. However I believe that if I
walked in that school five years from now, She
would still call my son and myself by name."

"I must say my very first experience at bentalou
elementary school was about 8 yrs ago when my
son was enrolled. There is no way to express the
warmth that i felt coming from ms. Winterling.
. A couple of years later my daughter was enrolled
as well, and again the warmth was still taking
me over. I have always felte the teachers and
i was on the same page.Meaning we all was after
the same thing, looking out for the children.
Open door policy is what ms. Wintering always
said. My youngest child wil be entering school
in the fall and i know the experience will never
change. All i can say is god bless ms. Winterling
hopefully at some point in time other parents
and chlidren will experience the love that bentalou
elementary school has."

"I agree with the first comment about the
principal. She is a very caring person. I have
never entered that school and didn't see a smile
on her face and her being very polite to me as
well as every child that crossed her path. She
know all the children by name, which I think is
remarkable and she also knows all the parents
I've ever seen walk pass her by name. I have three
children and two have already graduated from Bentalou
and I wish they could have stayed there with her
and the teachers that are there. They all are
very caring and concerned about their kids. That's
what they call them when you drop them off. They
belong to them and I personally can say that they
take very very good care of them. I think Beantalou
is an A1 school."

"First, I must send my praises for the principal
of this school. In all of my years, I have never
seen a more involved and pleasant principal. Do
not get me wrong; all of the staff is great, but,
this woman just makes me wish my child could continue
his entire educational career within the walls
of Bentalou. Not only does she do a great job
running the school, but she knows each of the
parents and students and will literally discontinue
any conversation she is in just to say hello or
goodbye to each parents entering or exiting the
building. My son is in his first year, and I have
two other children who will also attend this school.
I feel comfortable with their success in education
with a woman like this running the school as well
as the teachers/ administrators who are also on
top of things. Denise Young"

"As a former student of Bentalou Elementary
school I did not appreciate what the school had
to offer until my child also was in attendance,
it gave me the chance as an adult to see just
how special and rare it is to have a principal
and teachers that care about the student far beyond
5th grade years. they show a sense of passion
and compassion towards the student that i have
not seen any where else. The principal of this
school is very approachable and welcomes you each
time you visit and although your child is not
the only student in this school, you get a personal
response as if he or she was, i love Bentalou
elementary #150, and can not wait until my younger
chilren can attend."

"I can not express how this elementary school
has give such nuturing care to our children. the
staff members are stable and always kind. The
principal is far about the best. I would recommend
this school to any parent living in Baltimore
City and in need of the right school for their
childs tender years. The school not only foster
great staff but there goal was to better educate
all children entering the building and equipping
them with knowledge and skills for the upcoming
future. I love Bentalou # 150 !"
